Chapter 79: Wherein Our Hero Makes It Official
Well, the bachelor party weekend was fun. Wild sex with a bunch of porn stars was definitely a great way to say goodbye to the single life. But, I had other women, too, and the week between the bachelor party and Aiyana's move-in date, a few of them decided to also help me make the transition. On Monday, Meg came over to use my pool, because it was too cold for her to go swimming outside. But instead of swimming, we just cuddled on the lounger.
She asked if Aiyana and I were thinking about leaving the swingers' club after we got hitched.
I told her it honestly wasn't something we'd talked about yet.
"Well, if you do leave," she said, "I hope you'll still come around to visit me once in a while."
"You can count on it."
"Good. We have too much fun together."
"Speaking of..."
What can I say? I definitely wasn't planning on never tapping that again.
Then on Wednesday, Grace came over. We hadn't seen each other in months, too busy to keep up our regular fucking from years previous. Of course, Grace didn't come for the pool, she came for the bar.
That old bar has seen a lot of action over the years, and Grace has been involved for a big chunk of it.
Then, on Friday, Erin stopped by. She knew Aiyana would be moving in the following morning, and told me she just wanted to fuck me in the bed I'd be sharing with my new wife. I think Aiyana was right to not want me to see her.
So, yeah, the night before my wedding, I had to stay up late washing the sheets.
But the next day, we did it. Aiyana didn't want a public ceremony. Instead, we hiked up into the canyon.
Found a beautiful pool at the bottom of a waterfall her ancestors had considered holy.
And headed to the water's edge to commit to each other in front of all her gods and spirits.
And after that, we were married.
(Okay, to make it truly official, we had to go to the courthouse Monday and file some paperwork, but for all meaningful purposes, Saturday, November 21, 2009 is the date I became a husband.
