Synopsis: Hiro sits on his bed meditating on the events from last night and images in his mind trouble him. That kind of magic has been seen for hundreds of years. He then decides to talk to one of leaders of the city, Chairman White. In his office Hiro tries to explain what he saw and asks what this could mean. White warns Hiro not to mettle with magic of any kind and follow the law. When Hiro questions why he should not investigate White flies into a rage. Ordering Hiro out of his office, Hiro walks out defeated. Turning to his sister and personal assistant, Olivia he explains what he is doing is for the good of the city. Gazing at the key White has made sure that only he will control the magic that was left. It is locked away for the betterment of all. Saddened by what her brother as turned into, Olivia looks longingly at the key.

Later at Finnegan’s bar Hiro is pondering what to do next. At that moment Olivia walks in and is relieved to see him. She had been looking for him everywhere. Asking to join him, Hiro is pleased for the company and buys her a drink. She apologizes for her brother’s behavior and tells him she wants to help find the answers he is looking for. Showing Hiro the key she tells him that her brother locked away something of magical power deep in the Undercity. With that power Olivia is sure he can find out what is happening. Using the key as a map it will lead him to the chamber. Overwhelmed by the information Hiro does not know what to say or how to thank her. Olivia asks him to come upstairs with her as she has not been out in months. Away from her controlling brother she wants to feel a man’s body next to her again. Hiro feels that is the least he can do.

After the encounter Olivia tells Hiro to tell no one about what happened and to keep it their secret. After Olivia was gone Hiro walks back to bar and asks the serving bot if any mercenaries have been in the bar lately. The Undercity is a dangerous place and will need professionals to have a chance down there. The robot bartender points to the corner saying that is a mercenary crew he could hire. Walking over to the three women Hiro asks to sit down and offer them a job. The leader Calypso tells him to sit and introduces her crew. The tall tattooed elf is Demona with Rey sitting next to her. Hearing him out, Hiro asks for them to take him to the Undercity for a few days to look for the chamber. Rey objects telling him the danger is too high but Calypso thinks it can be done for the right price. When Calypso asked how much he can pay, Hiro smiles producing ten solid gold coins. Thinking he would have to pay for information he decided to use his family’s prized coin collection. Shocked to see real gold Calypso quickly agrees to the terms. As they leave the bar Calypso lays down the rules and tells him to follow her lead at all times. Hiro heartily agrees and asks how fast they can get there? Calypso tells him to hang on tight as they mount their choppers and tear through Omi’s city streets.
