Damir and Irena came to work yesterday. It was their first day on the new job. They came on time and my Fran told them to keep coming on time reminding them that my Prince hates unjustified delays which he punishes financially and if it happens three times, he fires offenders. Anyway, after signing the contract for the probation period, my Fran showed them their desks and introduced them to their colleagues. Giving them tasks like checking our website, advertisements, and similar, he asked them to come up with new ideas like what should be changed, refreshed, updated, or made new. Then he told them how he expect a full report of their work of that day at the end of the day every day. Irena and Davor were thrilled and they started to work immediately. (They got new Pcs, passwords, and everything they needed for their work. One girl in their office was in charge to help them with whatever they might need until they got the drill).

When we had a break, I invited them to my office and treat them with beverages. They thanked us sooooo much for hiring them that they couldn't stop talking about how much they liked their new job. After checking with my luvs who said they would be busy during lunch, I invited Damir and Irena to lunch with me, my Fran, and Lidija in the Hotel. My treat. They gladly accepted it. I saw a hidden smile on my Fran's face while they were thrilled with everything. We both know the feeling.

Anyway, when there was time for lunch, they came to my office and we went to the restaurant. I reserved the table for five earlier. While we were waiting for the meals, we enjoyed fruit liqueur aperitive. Suddenly Irena grabbed me gently for my hand and smilingly said:

- My, god, Eva … what did you do to Prince?

Me: I am sorry, but I don't understand what you mean.

Irena: I meant nothing bad or negative, Eva. You girls totally changed him. I never anticipated he will quote so high obtaining such positions and many important roles being very influential, powerful and respected. Prince I used to know wasn't like that at all…

I wanted to say something but she interrupted me saying:

- Sorry Eva, must tell you this. When we were together, he was a more introverted person, often depressed because of the way his mother treated him and his father, rarely going out and similar. The only thing that he was brilliant at was sex, (chuckling) but I am sure you already found it out. (Laughter) … Say, what happened, Eva? What did you do to change him?

(short pause. I was gathering and selecting my words)

Me: You see, Irena … The first thing I learned about him is that he is very unique, unlike many people I know … It took me some time to understand him, and I still don't sometimes but since I love him, I accepted him as he is. I didn't change him, Irena. I tried but it had the opposite effect on him … My Ivy didn't change him either. She shook up the rudimentary parts of his manhood and helped him to be a man. She awoke the warrior in him too. I, on the other side, strengthened certain emotions, attitudes, self-esteem, and self-respect in him that were weak or almost destroyed. Soo, we didn't change him but helped him to be the man he should be. But, just as we helped him, he helped us to be different people too, but you already know that. My Ivy and I can't imagine our lives without him now.

Irena (having her mouth wide open): Woooow! I am speechless …. Listening to you, I saw my mistakes I made with him. I mean, I loved him, but I never showed him full and deserved respect, but always forced him to change according to my desires. He tried hard because he loved me, but he couldn't be what he isn't. I didn't see it then …. (sadly sighing) ….

I took her hand and gently said:

- Irena, maybe you treated him wrongly, but it was destined to be like this. His life dream came true. My Ivy's and mine too.

I kissed her on the cheek. We ate our lunch in silence. She held her head down all the time and I am sure I heard her saying to her chin „How could I be so, stupid?!“ My Fran gave me a „You nailed her, honey“ look and smile. It's not what I wanted. Maybe I would nail her if she purposely hurt my Prince, but since she didn't and because she was stupid missing her chance to be happy, I couldn't. I also didn't want to make her feel guilty making her see how my Ivy and I did better job with my Prince than her, but to tell her how loving someone truly and fully as my Ivy and I love my Prince makes you go beyond your selfish desires and makes you fight for your man. Then you harvest numerous blessings in return.
