I thought I'd try my hand at a GIAJ main menu replacer.

Not rocket science. I just took Main Menu Background Replacer from Nexus, then created a Textures\interface\objects folder in a parallel MO2 mod and substituted my own menuwallpaper.dds file.

I think I might keep it for a while :)

General mod news: I two quest playable, and starting on the third. Still tweaking and bug fixing here and there. I want to get a bit further forward before I consider any sort of release though. Still, at the risk of jinxing myself, it does appear to be going well.  knocks on wood

Quick question for anyone interested. I was to have a scene in the College that pulled in a semi-random faction member ... would you want to include Colette in the list of possibles? I wasn't going to because in my mind's eye, she still looks like this:

... but after who knows how many makeover mods, in my game she now looks like this:

... and I am sorely tempted to reconsider.

I think at this point most people are playing with some kind of NPC makeover- and if not, there's probably a reason for it. I don't personally see a reason not to.

Yeah, more or less what I was thinking.

Now I need to think up some dialogue for her. Whoever gets asked makes a show of innocence or reluctance. So Faralda is all "Is there really no one better suited to this task?" when she's asked, and "The things I do in the name of scholarship" when she commits.

Brelyna says "oooh, how exciting!" and "This is going to count towards my final grade, right?" Mirabelle just wants to be assured that the demonstration is going to be both educational and informative, and Nirya will do it because she wants to out-slut Fralda. With Colette ... probably something to play on her paranoia a little. Maybe "This isn't going to be another prank, is it?" - "Don't worry, I promise your colleagues are going see you in a new light"

It occurs to me that I don't need to select one particular assistant for this. Just enable anyone not tied up in a quest and let the player decide who to approach. With maybe Urag suggesting Nirya as a fairly safe default. That would make testing easier, and if someone has the old hatchet faced Colette in their game, they don't have to ask her.

I think I'll do that.

... and here's Colette helping out :)

I need to fix those upside down runes on her ankles. That's going to keep bothering me, I can tell.

Botox, mainly. Plus CBBE minidresses and remodeled armor. I thought I had more than that, but I can't see 'em if so.

Umm... Umm....

I want your current Colette makeover. Mine is much more the original.

If you figure out which makeover you are currently using - please let us know...

I think it's just botox. I thought I had a raft of Pandorable and Bijin stuff in there too, but I can't see any of it in MO2. So I'm starting to think that was all before I moved  to SSE.

So unless I missed something, Botox

I love this the mages college definitely deserves more love as it's the best place to offload items in late game

I'm thinking that I'll maybe have one or two generic students on regualr display for ill-discipline. Or maybe a recurring radiant quest to round up unruly students and bring them for discipline. Two versions, perhaps. One where they submit to authority and one where they have to be coerced.

I can see that being fun :)

I like this. When you become arch mage you could maybe unlock the option to find and retrieve especially bad npcs ladies that need to be punished lol

Or summon faculty members to discuss their under-performance and how best to improve their motivation...

Damn. Feature creep again!
