I wanted to update this thread. After a HELL of a time with my bank ( they hate it when you spend a lot of money ), I finally got EVERYTHING ordered. It will arrive sometime next week ( I knew ordering it a Friday afternoon will suck, but oh well, better now for packaging to start then Monday ). In the end I was allowed to go WAY over budget lol, but it wasn't over budget once we WENT over the budget, so it all worked out really well. I will say this, this is the most expensive thing I think I have ever bought. I'm about to hit 36, I think I deserve my Mustang, however I can get it :P Anyway for those of you interested here was my FINAL BUILD and total price tag :

Mymy it is indeed nice but i feel u went overboard on what u bought.

Unless ur future proofing for a long time 1200 watt is alot.

This def isnt a bang for ur buck build except for the video card. Though i wont lie it is indeed beautfiul to read about and indeed i wish for such a build later on, but sadly i emm a jew when it comes to spending and only get bang for ur buck stuff, also aint shy about waiting for prices to drop later on. Yet that doesnt stop me from being jealous of ur build lol!

Hi  @TheDude2014, I would like to adress this :

Yes I went overboard on certain components. The main target most seem to have is the PSU, but as I said in another thread on a different forum :

I know some parts may seem overkill, like the PSU, and I could have cut that down and used the money for 2x 980's, but I really wanted to future proof the essentials as best as I could, namely things like the mother board, processor, and the power supply. These 3 choices to me seemed like the most important ones, and so while it way seem a BIT overkill, I hope you can understand why I did it.

*edit* and also the monitor. I REALLY hope that thing was worth it. It was a LARGE chunk of my budget.

i have a similar set-up (little over a year) been the BEST investment I have ever made! Are you building yourself? Feels good when you start "her" up for the first time! Damn it! now I have to build another one! Have Fun!
