Julia was born in the slums of a big city. She never knew her father, and her mother died when she was young. She was raised by her grandmother, who did her best to provide for her. However, life was hard in the slums, and Julia often went hungry. When Julia was 18 years old, she was offered a job by a woman named Madame Rose. Madame Rose ran a brothel, and she offered Julia a place to stay and food to eat in exchange for working for her. Julia was hesitant at first, but she eventually agreed.
