A Skyrim of Gor

I was recently inspired by John Normans "Gor" book series and have started a Skyrim Gorean roleplaying playthrough. To any hardcore Goreans who take this lifestyle seriously, more power to you, but to me this is just some fun pulp fiction, so if I'm appropriating aspects of your lifestyle for the sake of my dumb blog, sorry in advance, To be clear, when I say "things I like from the novels" I mean nudity, sex and the hot kind of fictional/fantasy slavery.

While I'm no expert in Gorean lore (I only just started the books), the wonderful Fanbase of Gor TM have created a lot of great online resources, so researching Gor's universe has been easy, and fun. I've been modding Skyrim forever and the world of Gor just seemed like a (potentially) good fit.

Goal: Basically I want to take Gor lore and incorporate it into Skyrim when it's fun (less so for the slaves) and makes sense. A fun Gorean themed playthough. "Mod it till it breaks" but Gorean style. Everything I think would be interesting from Gor that, using mods, might also work in Skyrim, and trying it out. Therefore the goal is to make something that works in the worlds of Elder Scrolls AND Gor, combined. A lot of it will be headcanon, but I'll still be doing Skyrim quest lines, and trying to maintain Skyrim/Elder Scrolls lore and cohesion and much as possible.

What This Blog is: This blog is a way to catalogue, track and share my progress. I plan to talk about where I am in-game, how the modding is going, what mods I'm relying on most as I go and finally talk about what works and what doesn't.

What This Blog is Not: This blog is not a fictional adventure story told in blog form. While I will be talking about what is happening in-game and tracking that linearly, this is told from an external point of view. Reminder: This is not an attempt to turn Skyrim into the world of Gor.
