They probably just want to squeeze more money out of Oblivion and that's it. My guess is that it will look slightly better than original, with a few minor fixes taken straight from the unofficial patches. Something similar to Fallout 4's "next gen" update. I hope they leave the original game alone, no shitty patches breaking most of the mods out there. Just release the remake and leave old Oblivion untouched. Just leave it alone.

It's not a specific phrase but I hate when people say dumb shit like "animated porn with fictional characters promotes rape. Video games will make you violent. Realistic gun mods for video games are a red flag". They didn't think even for a split second that it can be caused by many different things during someone's upbringing, or just that some people are breathing garbage bags with no empathy, or dumb fucking monsters who think that "I dindu nuffin, btw I'm crazy and possessed ;D" will convince the judge. You truly have to be the living definition of a sheltered manchild with no clue about the real world to think that porn or a video game will turn a perfectly normal person into a monster. You're not even encouraging other people to look into it a bit more to help them understand and maybe prevent something like that from happening in the future. That would require, god forbid, some reading without funny pictures. Oh and that's nothing compared to the absolute fucking imbecile who says something like "well if you like realistic combat and gore in video games then you should go to a real war". There's no way you're a naturally born human. You're a result of some scientist who actively tried to make the ultimate super retard. I'm not even going to say that you're the one who should go there, they would have to spend months on training you how to tie your own boots and reward you with snacks every time you succeed.

Unfuckable neckbeard calling someone a virgin because they do sexual stuff in a video game 4. It will turn people into sexual predators who treat women like sex toys 5. At least one mouth breather who says something like "ehhh it's weird and I don't get it and ehhh ;/" 6. Doing that in a video game means that you treat women like sex toys in real life It's basically a circle jerk of brainlets.

Oh it's about the Creation Club, so pretty much irrelevant because it's mostly mediocre stuff at best. It would actually ruin my game, many of them are so shitty and basic they would stand out too much when used alongside Nexus mods. I wouldn't pay a single penny for them even if they were absolutely amazing because I have precisely 0 respect for Bethesda. They should be grateful that modders turn their half assed games into something that's actually fun to play. Maybe that's a bit too harsh, at least Bethesda are not pedos, terrorists or communists. I'll give them 0.1 respect then.

I hate when someone says "bruh", especially when they also say "bro" and "dude" every few seconds. It makes you sound like a neanderthal with brain damage. DURRRR DOOOD, BURH, LIKE BRO, BRUH DOOOD, DURRRRHURRRHURRR.

I didn't update so I don't know if it breaks anything. I've been watching this video: And apparently they have added the Enclave remnants as a bunch of hostile NPCs just so you can get their power armor and retextured vanilla combat armor.

Some few minor bug fixes, apparently it runs a bit faster, and it still looks way worse than modded old version with a few retextures and lightweight ENB. Oh and some free CC content. Paaathetic.

First one was kinda fun. No opinion on the second one since there are no long gameplay videos of it yet. Getting hyped over it is like being overly excited while watching advertisement. It's probably going to be good. Probably.

Something like that but even less. Few mediocre CC items, some minor bug fixes here and there and that's it. More noticeable issues such as braindead AI, horrible pathfinding and bad hitboxes will remain untouched from what I can tell. It looks like they're updating it just to show that Fallout 4 still gets updates. I have no idea about the consoles part, I'm completely unfamiliar with them. I don't know what bugs they are going to fix, they might be so minor it barely makes any difference or it has been fixed by mods already.

So from what I can see it doesn't add anything that would be worth reinstalling over 500 mods. It's already very stable and crashes are so rare they're not even worth mentioning. CC items that are going to be added for free look mediocre, I wouldn't use them and there's plenty of better mods on the Nexus. In my opinion it doesn't look worthwhile even if it doesn't break mods. Will they fix the half assed static object hitboxes already? No? Ok.

I don't know about the rest because I have no interest in having children in FO4. I treat settlers like free and disposable laborers, they do their job or get shot.

I usually play as a loner trying to live a decent life or a Gunner. Gunner is pretty much the same as a loner except she decided that joining a group like this is better than being alone. The reason for that is she doesn't like having a normal job or living in Diamond City, just not her thing. I use alternate start mod and I don't care that much about the main big factions. I have too many kinks to be impressed by most sex mods so I keep them pretty much disabled, they trigger under very specific conditions or only on demand. I keep them for two reasons: 1. Rape is a simple death alternative, more interesting than just quick load 2. I can impale enemies if I catch them off guard If I would play as Nora then doing all of that wouldn't make sense from her perspective. She's would be too obsessed with finding her child or at least knowing whether he's alive and well or not. Judging by the dialogue she clearly cares about her son so "getting prepared" by collecting junk, doing random quests and modifying guns is very unlikely to happen. She would probably be sleep deprived and starving while desperately trying to find her kid. Also she's a lawyer and wouldn't stand a chance against a raider who was born and raised in the wasteland.

Most complaints and rants about the AI generated stuff. Here's the stuff that I usually see and why I think it's dumb: 1. It's more low effort trash on the internet The internet is so full of absolute garbage that it's like spitting on a mountain of rancid hot trash. From reaction and "paranormal" videos on YouTube with dudes trying to talk with ghosts using a fucking phone app (that's spewing out unrelated nonsense lol) to BLAKC WITERAN GOURD ARMER RETEXTUR mods. Or in case of Fallout 4 some basic bitch preset or body mod that could be renamed to "I discovered women 2 days ago and my penis feels funny". And basic stat edits that anyone can do in CK. That's still less than 1% of all the junk on the web. There are also shitty fucking OCs and fursonas that look like they were drawn by a 6 year old. No, it's not "magically better and unique and beautiful in its own way and ehhh ;D" because it was hand drawn by a human. If you think it's better then that's fine, but for most people it's still le garbaj. 2. People are selling it, "I'm ok with it as long as you don't sell it" Creation Club trash, garbage mods for sale, basic nudes for sale, low effort porn for sale, hell even someone's used UNDERWEAR is for sale so someone can jack off to it. And that's fine, it's your money and you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. Yes, it would be pretty much gone if people wouldn't pay for it. Go ahead and find those people to tell them "don't spend your money on it because I personally don't like it". 3. AI sucks at generating art, it makes poorly drawn malformed monstrosities It's because most people are literally too fucking lazy and/or stupid to figure out how prompts work. Anyone can do it, it's piss easy, there are plenty of pictures on the internet with prompts used to generate them that you can use as example to see how it works. AI generated doesn't mean fucking magic, you still have to put some effort into it. That's like me saying that Photoshop is useless garbage because I made a simple stick man in it using the default brush. The first one isn't THAT dumb, it's still more and more trash, but it feels like those people are overreacting. It's kinda new, I recently discovered it therefore OMG it's the worst. NEW BAD, OLD GOOD. Robot man bad. Someone posted a picture of a three legged woman with fucked up ogre hands, the internet is unusable now. I tried nothing and immediately gave up, therefore it sucks.

I don't play on vanilla survival mode because it feels like I'm torturing my character with the mind numbing amount of food and water that she constantly needs. It's not challenging or interesting at all, it's very easy to get a mountain of supplies. It feels like it was made by someone who desperately tries to make it more difficult. Vanilla difficulty sliders don't really matter to me because I use SCOURGE, SKK Dynamic Damage Manager and MAIM, combined with some other mod that makes only endurance raise my HP. Vanilla settings are basically "piss easy terminator mode" or "bullet sponge hell at the start and then piss easy terminator mode". On very hard without mods I ran around wearing normal clothes and no armor on, I leveled up so much that I became the ultimate bullet sponge. Not being able to save normally or use the console is just fucking stupid. Fallout 4 is very stable but it can still crash, there's nothing fun or challenging in doing the same shit over and over again because the game shat itself. I wouldn't be able to finish the MQ without console commands and I had only a few mods installed. I couldn't start the dialogue with the stupid synth kid even though not a single mod changed the dialogue or NPCs. I actually like Automatron because I use a mod that allows me to build robots if I have the Robotics Expert perk, I don't have to do any quests. Which is great because it was written by a 10 year old just like the rest of the game. I use SKK Random Encounter Manager and War of the Commonwealth mods, so a few goofy robots won't make any difference. Most modded guns are added to the Gunners, those wacky robots don't stand a chance if they spawn near pissed off Call of Duty fans. Automatron enemies fucking suck, they're rarely worth looting. Vanilla robots, especially Assaultrons, are more dangerous and have better stuff on them. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Or the tip of a garbage mountain. I have 486 mods installed so Fallout 4 is very fun to play, but without them pretty much everything sucks. Few other things that piss me off: 1. Using a scope feels like my character is riding a dildo on a boat. Who the fuck thought that it's a good idea? 2. Shotguns are useful only in point blank range because mUh BaLaNcE 3. Power armor breaks very easily, but a piece of leather strapped to my leg is indestructible 4. Hitscan bullets that completely disappear after reaching their max range 5. NPCs won't shut the fuck up, without mods I'm bombarded with dialogues written by some alien who doesn't know how humans behave 6. Legendary items are useful only because I have a mod that lets me scrap them, otherwise they're complete trash or so OP it makes the game way too easy. Even a modded gun with explosive or never ending effect feels just goofy and boring 7. Melee. Fuck melee. It's slightly improved vanilla Oblivion combat Without mods it's a fucking trashpocalypse.

They're safe, I used/use most of them and they don't have any malware attached to them. If something detects it as malware then it's a false positive.
