How do I add HDT to an "added companion"

I downloaded the "All-in-One HDT Animated Pussy" mod and it works. My only question is how do I change the body from CBBE to CBBE HDT on bodies of added companions from mods. And also to clarify it works on everyone else, just not the added companions. My assumption is it's because they have CBBE bodies rather than CBBE HDT.

You have to change the meshes of the added companion(s). (I'd do it outside the game - i.e. unpack, change, re-pack and load with mod manager - rather than the Data/Meshes/Actors folder of the game itself.) Also make sure that the companions have the textures from the same family as the meshes you are using.
