Spouses Enhanced (1.73) and Mirai

Hi folks, first post here.

 

I'm using a custom follower Mirai that comes with her own marriage quest.

 

Now after completing it, I've checked and her relationship status is set as lover ( console reads : getrelationshiprank player 4), but this mod isn't detecting her as spouse, even though it says it works on custom followers ( obviously without voiced lines)

 

Anyone know a  work-around for this?

I get nothing for search on spouses enhanced 1.73, or even just spouses enhanced, nothing on this site or google or ddg...?
