3DMax in DOA5LR

Hello!
I can work with 3DMAX, but I almost did not work with program Blender.
As far as I know, all the modding tools were created specifically for Blender. In this regard, I'm wondering whether it makes sense to start working in modding with 3DMax?
I'm interested in any information on modding with 3DMax.
Thank you.

Hi there, I am less than one year rookie and solely using Blender, and some dudes use 3Ds Max so I am not the best candidate to reply however, ppl here might think "Otaka gonna react. Let him do." so here I am with few infos about 3Ds MAX.

Talented modder/developer TimmyC created Timmy's TMC/OBJ Converter & Post Processing Tool which can convert OBJ format to DOA5LR original TMC format.

So absolutely possible. Should make sense. Even with Blender, with dozens of community made add-ons, currently use Blender as following functions only:

- Edit mesh (includes weight related info)

- Edit UVMap

- Edit bones/armatures

- Motion related editing like bone / camera motions importer/exporter

Basically use as Modeller, unless you jump into motion/movie related materials.

It is easy to imagine  you are familiar with 3Ds MAX and heard of using modeller only then switch or jump into Blender is not urgent, not necessary.

On the other hand, some of dudes switched to Blender because of many add-ons(and incomparable cost).

Sorry again all I know is above. Hope this reply will provide small info.

I join the question. Is there any tutorial on how to use this program (3DsMax) in modding?
