Quadropuss Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Hey everyone, I just got Skyrim yesterday and I'm simply confused on how to install mods. I've had Oblivion for a while now and I know how they're mods work, Skyrim's mods are a bit confusing for me. I used OBMM for all my mods and I'm not even sure how to install mods manually. Is there a manager out there that isn't NMM? I tried it, but all the race mods are not really what I'm looking for...And none of them seem to work right. I'm so confused...
sbire Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Skyrim/Data/ sample: Skyrim/Data/meshes Skyrim/Data/scripts <- don't delete anything inside this folder, if you remove a mod, just leave it as it is and overwrite with new scripts. Skyrim/Data/textures Skyrim/Data/mod.esp finally you have to activate mod.esp with the default skyrim launcher or a custom one like wrye bash.
