Skyrim unable to load after installing spouses enhanced

Hi,

I've been having increased problems ever since trying to install Spouses Enhanced. Before that, I was having a few crashes and having the game go unresponsive during loading, but it always recovered. After adding spouses enhanced, the game started crashing anytime I loaded one of my saves, so I couldn't even get into the game. I tried removing the mod, but it hasn't helped. I have a lot of mods installed already, and I've already cleaned the game using TES5's "Remove identical to masters" and "undelete" functions, without success.

Hoping someone here can tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this, and hoping I won't have to give up this save.

This usually works for me, give it a try.

It's a save cleaner, load up your recent save in the Software, and see if anything shows up as errors:

Well, I tried it, and it got rid of something like 400 orphan script instances. Unfortunately, it still won't load with spouses enhanced. Will still use it if I hit other issues, tho, so thanks for the suggestion.

 

Also, forgot to say, I made sure to run FNIS as well before loading the game.
