What Does it Do?

While playing both the base game with and without mods, I've had my home invaded by a huge object that looks like a square tub on the top, supported by four steel beans and some closed-in tanks inside the framework. It takes up an entire room, you can't build around it, you cannot delete it and you can't move it. The two times I've seen it, the thing just sits there for a dozen or so hours of gameplay, then it mysteriously vanishes. Has anyone else seen this, and do you know what it is and why it just appears like that?

Could you provide some screenshots from early saves to describe this misterious object even further?

Well...if you want to remove this object then you could open up your cheat bar and type "moveObjects on". Once that opens you "could" try to remove the object while in the buy mode.
