Households keep getting deleted.

Sometimes before I move into the neighborhood I like to make last minute edits to my created Sim in CC.  But when I go to load the Sim, he is not there he has been deleted.  This happens only when I close the game.  In fact every time I open the gallery to load the Sim, it shows the tutorial screen when you first installed the game and choose open gallery.  So here's what I normally do.  I start a new game go to CC, load up my Sim replacing the default Sim and edit him.  But this time when reload the Sim is not there in the gallery.

Do you mean that your custom sims don't show up in the Gallery View? To see your created sims open the “Advanced” tab on the left side in your Gallery and select the option to “Include Custom Content” because it is turned off by default. It is always off by default so you have to perform this every time you start.
