Crashing and no sex animations

Hi!

 

I have searched and plundered and updated and plundered the forums for answers and haven't really come up with anything.

 

I have two problems.

 

The first, more important one, I can't get skyrim SE to launch, whereas it launched a few hours ago just fine.

 

Background:  Ever since the skse update and I updated all of the mods as they came out, none of my sex animations work.  They just stand there, half of the time on top of each other or the other half just standing at what appears to be a default distance from each other.  The sounds still play and it still seems to count towards sex but there is no animation.  I actually took a screenshot of this earlier in the game when it still worked but I can't figure out where it saved at.

 

So, me having this bright idea, uninstalled all of the mods that had to do with sex then slowly starting installing them one by one.  I eventually hit a corrupt save - probably because of the amount I uninstalled and had to go to a prior save but unfortunately at that time, I had already enable all but a couple of them and the game loaded - I saw that the animations were still broken, and quit the game in an effort to look at everything again.  It didn't start back up.

I run FNIS  after every download

 

I installed BOSS and WRYE BASH but I freely admit I don't know how to use them, even after reading the instructions.  I also installed SSEDIT but I'm afraid to clean anything on the chance it's going to break something all over again.

The ones with no numbers are unchecked ... this playthrough I used the original opening scene but after I left Riverwood, I disabled it to free up a plug-in use.  (Stupid limit!)

 

Granted, I'm not very far in the game on this playthrough (but the thought of going through Bleak Falls Barrow again makes me cringe) so I could technically just create a new character but I don't want to have to do that.
 

And until I get the whole "Lets not even start the game" crash thing over with, I can't do that anyway.

 

My understanding Papyrus makes logs that will record crashes but I can't find where ... I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong threads or what.

 

But any help would be appreciated.  I'm hoping it's something simple.  :-)
