my sim is sleeping with his mother!

my male teenage sim and his mother do have a close relationship... but i didnt expect to see them going at it together. is there a way i can stop this? i dont have an incest trait. its creepy now lol. also not sure if this is a WW glitch or EA but they can now perform romantic interactions with eachother but their relationship still says mother and son.... this is not the kind of relationship they were meant to have lol

In WW menu check the relationship tab to see if incest is active, it should have been off by default. There is also a reward trait called Incest but you have to purchase it. If it was active turning it off may not stop your sims family because of their saved relationship 

 

If you have MCCC and MC Woohoo, that also has an incest option, but it's disable by default.

I had a save some months ago where this was happening and I didn't have global incest or the the reward trait purchased. I had parents having sex with their adult children and siblings having sex with each other.  I was not able to select relatives as sex partners, they only did this autonomously. I did have high autonomy enabled, so I wondered if there just wasn't some kind of check in place that looked checked to see if the sim joining in was related or not that caused them to do it. I think I do have screenshots, but I didn't take shots of the whole UI so there is no way for me to actually show that they were related and I no longer have the save. However, this is the first time I've come across anybody else mention this so I wonder if there is something that causes this to happen. Granted, I was playing a redneck family at the time so I figured that was just what they wanted to do, even if I hadn't enabled them to do it myself, lol.
