Bodyslide help for Devious Devices

Recommended Posts

I just recently discovered about devious devices and the whole bodyslide mods, however when i downloaded the mod "Brothel of Whiterun" I discovered a problem with my body becoming invisible except for my feet, hands and head yet I see the devious device. i know that I have to fit the body into the bodyslide menu but that's where I get confused, I'm not sure how to upload a body into my skyrim directory or make it all work so I can use the devious devices... I use a preset for Anastasia along with a CBBE Slim body.

Bodyslide:

1) Open bodyslide.
2) Use the top drop down menu to select the item you want to modify.
3) Use the preset drop down menu, [the one below it] to give the preset body you want to use.
4) Make more modifications if you so choose.
5) Click build and it will automatically add the meshes to the correct path.

Pt2: [Do not use if top works.]

6)If you feel like "5" isn't working, hold down ctrl and left click to have the mesh files placed in the bodyslide files.
7) Locate the Devious Devices meshes in your meshes file within the data folder for Skyrim. Should be Data\Meshes\Devious\Devices
8) Move the mesh files you created from your bodyslide file, "Example: armbinder01.nif" to the Mesh folder once you located it.
9) Run Skyrim.

If you still have an issue with things being invisible, clear out Devious Devices in your MCM menu by setting everything to nothing on. Then find the item you are look for and test again. If it still doesn't work, the slot isn't matching up for the item/mesh. This will require Nifskope and TES5Edit to correct.

Edit: Did you download and install all requirements?
