Disappearing Sims

Ran into a potentially save-abandoning bug this week. One of the NPCs who I've recruited as a whore (and had a kid with) has dropped out of the game. Blank portrait, can't find her anywhere, but she also generates a lot of missing object messages (which appears to be from KW trying to get her off to work as a hooker). I'm fairly sure she got arrested for whoring, so this could have come from that sequence going wrong.

 

Tried debug and NRaas MC resets (I can't select her directly with NRaas, but did a reset of her household lot) to no avail. Then I discovered that there's also something wrong with the Edit Town Mode... when I enter it her household can't be selected. I've read that you can sometimes fix missing sims by evicting them and merging them back.

 

I've got one last trick to try - using NRaas to change control to a household member and see if I can evict her that way. But it may end up being a revert to save (I'll only lose a couple of days, I think).

If you enable the Kinkyworld Cheats you'll get a debug menu option
One of the options within that menu is the "FixInvisibleSims" option
That might work to get your sims to appear again
