CC icon issues

I've been having this issue with some of my CC. some of the items are under rings show a picture of a hand but not the item its self. sometimes it's all the color swatches and for others, if i move the cruiser certain color swatch then it will show what the item is. any ideas on how to fix this or is there a way to make a icon myself for these items. or add a text whe i pount the mouse over said items  The Items do show up on the sim when I click on it. i just want to take the gusse work out, when looking for a certain item

First you will have to create a domestic unit, you clean it completely from CC to avoid mistakes, once you have stripped it in all the categories you start to put all the CC that the icon does not appear, you keep your domestic unit, install the S4Tray importer, you open it, you will see the domestic unit, you will click on the file tab, double click on the files that appear and you will open the windows explorer, with the file you have selected before, the copies to another folder, with the S4S goes one by one and exports the texture, you open the texture with your image editor, you make a selection of the image and the guard, the S4S uses Png for thumbnails, you open again the S4S you select again the CC that you do not the thumbnail appears, now you import the thumbnail, save the package, copies to the mod folder and that's it.
