Sims stuck doing nothing

I have the latest version of sim 4 with all exps, latest free wicked, latest mcc. The problem is eventually all my sims will just end up stuck doing whatever they are doing or just standing around doing nothing and I can't cancel their actions or if i start new ones they the actions just stay in queue. They just stand around in place. Any ideas whats going on? Thanks

I could be wrong but it sounds like simulation lag.

Could you give more details like how many sims are on the lot when it starts freezing?

Do you have any WW animations looping without ending?

Does the game generally take a long time to load in for you? (like more then a couple minutes to load into a lot, or to change lots etc.)

Have you adjusted MCCC setting to beyond the recomended? (Like number of sims in Zone/Lot, or anything like that?)

Loading in is fast but if i use a save that I know isn't about to experience this bug soon then I might not get the bug for a while but if i load a save that has this happen a few minutes after then it will always happen. This happens without any WW animations occuring at the time I believe. I am also using MCCC game time speed to 50 (default 25) and I do notice if i change max sims on lot to 25 from 8 it will happen quicker even without adding any sims and my current household has 8 sims right now. So you think its because I set time speed to 50?

I'm not sure, it could be like you pointed out a faulty save. I would try both, try lowering the speed back to 25 and see how that works out, if that doesn't work try starting a fresh new save. Before you make a new game you might want to save some of your lots and sims to your library so you can load them into your new game.
