beccaladams Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 My sims aren't eating. They'll make food and sit down with it and then just sit there. It happened when I updated MCC but even after switching to an older version it's happening. When I first switched back, I tested it and they ate. When I made my alterations with MCC, they went back to not eating. Not sure what i'm changing that would even cause that, or if it's just coincidence, but it really sucks. All my stuff is up to date, even my UI but I deleted that anyways because my game options menu was broken. Please help, it's super annoying!!
beccaladams Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 I feel like I should mention that it was working just fine, all my cc never changed, and it only became an issue when I updated MCC. Just went in and it was fine again after putting in the newest MCC, but then I made changes again through MCC and haven't checked to see if they're still eating because the game was so slow moving I had to quit. My game takes about 20 minutes to load in and 10 to save and quit, so i've been doing this for 8 hours now.
viroma Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 well to help with the load time (mine used to be awful as well), i would suggest downloading sims4studio, going to tools < merge packages, and merging a lot of your cc (like clothes, hairs, make ups, furniture, etc) together. less package files for your game to load, the faster it will. just don't put EVERYTHING into one merge file, because if it's too big it'll crash your game. as for not eating, i'm not sure what would cause this. did you delete the old mccc files before putting the new ones in the folder? i know it takes forever to load the game, but i'd suggest removing all your mods and just running mccc and seeing if it still persists, that way you can rule out if its mccc or something else interfering with mccc
