Sim vanishing and reappearing

Last night when I fired up my modded Sims3, which has been working fine, I noticed that one of my Sims was vanishing, then reappearing.  This just continued to repeat itself.  However, I have loaded no mods in the last couple of days, and again all was working fine up till last night.  You can still see what they are doing, like eating a plate of food, but the character pops in and out.

 

Has anyone seen this before, maybe know the cause or cure?  Using NRAAS and KW together, and up till now without major problems.
