Help with armor making

Hi,

I've been spending time over the last weeks making an armor mod for skyrim and i did finish it yesterday.

Unfortunetely i'm having problems with the 1st person view. When i go into 1st person with my bracers equipped my character doesn't have forearms visible. If i unequip the bracers i still don't have any forearms and i'm left with just the floating hands models. Everything looks good in 3rd person, the issue seems to only happen in 1st person.

Note: My armor model doesn't support the weight slider and the _0 and _1 meshes are exactly the same (the armor only has the 0 slider weight). That also creates other problems: If the weight slider isn't at the absolute minimum i notice a visible gap between the hand and feet meshes when wearing just the armor, but that is to be expected. I'm not sure if this is what causes the 1st person issue.

I seriously want to avoid having to make a second _1 mesh due to prefference in how the _0 body looks and due to the low-poly armor that looks stupid and too streched on the _1 body. It was made for the 0 weight body and i want to keep it that way. And I'm also lazy :P

If anyone more experienced than me can offer assistance into solving this problem (the 1st person problem) I'd greatly apreciate it and hopefully release the armor aswell. I'm reaaaly tired of looking at it:dodgy:
