KH Woohoo for Money Mod (Update May 18 2018)

Hi again! I've been testing out your 0.27 mod version in a hardcore rags to riches challenge on an empty lot. Thanks for making it easier to level up from Street Girl to Bar Girl. It makes it more fun and a lot easier to make money. (My previous challenge sim was dirt poor for quite a while, though she was eventually able to build a house. I did cheat a bit and let her have a decent garden and harvest / collect whatever was readily available.) My current sim has to make her money the hard way. Pun intended.  

 

I'm glad you enabled bush woohoo even after the promotion to Bar Girl where you can use a closet as well. It makes sense to me that she should be able to use any former woohoo locations in addition to the new ones. My sim got her promotion to Bar Girl while at a rave at the Ruins. I thought she was going to get paid the Bar Girl rate after making the call to accept the new job, but she was paid at the level 5 Street Girl price instead. So, I figured maybe she has to closet woohoo once before the next level kicked in. It didn't work that way, though. Once my sim traveled to a bar, she was able to closet woohoo for the higher Bar Girl rate. But when she traveled back home, where she had a party bush on her mostly empty home lot, she was paid the Street Girl rate again. Can you please look into that? My girl's spoiled now and wants her $400+ per 'job' instead of the measly $100-ish.   I'm glad I found that out before spending her hard-earned money on a closet for her home lot.

 

Edit:  My sim just got promoted to Brothel Girl but only closet woohoo shows up in the bar. She traveled home and only the bush woohoo was available, even though she had a bed on her lot. After traveling back to the bar, still only closet woohoo is showing up, at the previous Bar Girl rate. (There are beds upstairs, and they always worked fine in previous versions of the mod.) Is that a bug, perhaps?

 

I'm still having lots of fun with this mod, so thanks again! BTW, I'm looking forward to trying out the other, more exotic woohoo locations. And I'd love to see you add a girlfriend experience / overnight date with requirements for a certain number of woohoos for the big bucks the john would be charged.

Hi, thanks for your testing and comments! Good to hear you like the new features ?

 

With the lower rates and using bush woohoo as a bar girl or brothel girl i did that on purpose. The experience you get from these interactions also count for your street girl skill. My thoughts behind it were that when you act like a street girl, why should a john pay more for a bush woohoo outside in a park? He doesnt know or care what you are. If you want to get paid more work in a brothel and woohoo in beds. If you work in a park and woohoo in bushes you get paid as a street girl. Hope this gives some extra information why.

 Did not run into this issue myself, but will have a look at it. I assume you are using Old Joe's as the bar?

Thanks for the suggestions. Currently working on 0.28 version with optimizations in how the john autonomously does the kh woohoo for money interactions. When that is finished i have planned to start working on the gfe.

I see what you're saying. Makes perfect sense. You made the decision from the POV of the john where I, of course, was only thinking about my sim. It's all about me, didn't you know? What do you mean the john doesn't care about me? ? LOL.

 

At the Brothel level, can it be any bed or does it have to be at a bar? My sim may want to make house calls to certain residents or entertain johns on her own lot. She's quite the entrepreneur.

I often use Old Joe's as the bar but since it didn't have a closet, I used the Magnolia Street Cathouse that I'd used previously. It has a closet in the bar area, beds upstairs and a dorm/shower area downstairs. That's where I had first tried the Brothel Challenge with your mod, so I know the previous versions worked fine there. (The lot was mentioned in the original Brothel Challenge post. Can't remember the creator but I think I found it in the gallery by searching for the lot name. If you can't find it easily, I can look it up.)

 

Edit:  Not sure what happened last night, but when I started up my save today, I checked to see if my sim could call for a promotion. She made the call, got the bonus and message that she was now a Brothel Girl. She was able to woohoo in a bed in the bar as well as her home lot. So, it worked fine. Awesome! Can't wait to try it out. I love when a sim like Vlad the vampire, who seemingly hates my sim, autonomously initiates the kh woohoo for money. I just snicker. Ha - I knew he couldn't hold out forever.

At the moment it  can be any double bed on any lot. No restrictions in that. Thanks for asking this question, it gives me new ideas for a future version ?

It could be that the brothel owner was not impressed and you didnt get the promotion. I have to check if i explained this clearly on my site. Promotions work as following, there is a slight chance that the owners are not impressed by your sims request. The odds decrease with every level. The odds are that in 99 of 100 you get the street girl job, 80 of 100 the bar girl, 70 of 100 the brothel girl, 50 of 100 the escort girl and 25 of 100 the high class escort girl. If you made the call and you get denied, you have to wait 24 hours before trying again.

Vlad and Caleb are my main customers ?. Didnt get any children yet from Vlad, but Caleb is very succesful in getting my sims pregnant.

This mod works with only base game. Expansion packs are not required, but will add more gameplay to your game. This mod has been designed to play the brothel challenge. See my blog for a link to the brothel challenge explanation on the modthesims forum. As a street girl travel to a place where there are woohoo bushes, for example the ruins or the haunted estate in Windenburg. Talk to male sims and try to get them to pay you for woohoo. The only limit you have is your own imagination.

So not sure if other mods I have are causing conflicts or not.  I propositioned another sim and got turned down.  My sim now no longer seems to be able to proposition anyone, while another in the household still can.  Any idea why this might be?

 

Edit:  So I removed all mods but this one, and one of my sims has the option to woohoo for money in a bush pop up.  The other has no options in that category.  Any suggestions you could give me as to why this is not working properly would be appreciated.

 

Edit 2:  So I just realized this mod disables itself if your sim is pregnant.  That's probably the issue I am having.  Sorry to be a bother.

Then you have to add them yourself somewhere. The bushes can be found in build mode under outdoor plants.

I have a question: Is there a way to modify the amount of money earned per woohoo and/or the time interval between each woohoo for money? 

Like my sim is quite popular and that's great, but she ends up with 10 guys in one night, which seems a little much for me lol

Hey this mod is great, I put the sell your body club interaction and I noticed that there is no autonomy for this mod, my sims are not more willing to sell their body on their own and also other npc's won't do it either, if u can get this working we can have actual brothels... here's one idea: Sacrificial has a mod called "Hoe it Up" in his most recent release of me writing this (publicly June 11th 2018), He added the ability for sims to pole dance for money and if your sim has a retail store you can assign a sim to a pole a get money from npc sims. The money goes directly into your retail funds and not the household funds. I've wanted working brothels in the sims 4 for so long and I feel like we are so close! Your woohoo for money and his hoe it up are very different but if you work together you maay come out with the one of the first and best brothel mods ever!
