I have a lot of mods and cc on my computer. Something is causing my game to crash. I get the error message that something is not up to date in the orange box all the time.  What is the best way to find out what is outdated or not working anymore.

You can do the 50/50 method.

 

Remove 50% of your mods, see if it happens still. If not, put 50% of of the removed mods back in (so 25% of total) and see if it happens. If it happens now youll know the fault is in those 25% of mods, and if it doesnt then you know it is in the remaining unadded 25% of mods.

 

Then you take the culprit 25%, and only add half of it, see if the error crops up, and so on and so on.

Works well, but takes some time, and can be scuppered if you have multiple problem files.
