emmalouise43 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 I have just downloaded the latest WickedWhims and the animations that had been updated but now I don't get any options or the notification to say it's installed. I have tried updating the game but it is up to date. It shows the files in the mods list in game but other than that it doesn't recognise it and the sims pixelate when having a bath. It doesn't show any errors and I have gone through all the installation instructions. I have deleted it and re-downloaded it about 3 times now. Please help.
Simite Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Make sure you have script mods enabled, probably got turned of during an EA update or a re-install.

emmalouise43 Posted January 11, 2018 Author Posted January 11, 2018 Uninstalling and re-installing didn't help. I noticed an installer in the whickedwhims file and that said it was installed but still not working in game they still show up in the mods list like before.

emmalouise43 Posted January 12, 2018 Author Posted January 12, 2018 Everything is in the Mods folder and i checked all the folders in Sims 4 and deleted anything to do with WickedWhims then tried again still nothing. I've given up until I find a solution that works or until it is updated again then I'll retry.

My game updated yesterday so I tried again but still not working. i didnt see ww file in your screenshot, put 3 files from ww mods to sims4 mods folder, and re-enable script and custom content in sims 4 setting
emmalouise43 Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 I've done this quite a few times, I have been using WW for months with no problems I only had problems when it was updated and I deleted the old ones to install the new version so I know it's not the folder that's the problem. The game knows they are there because they show up in the mods list in options it just won't show the WW when I click on something and it has started pixelating when they shower etc again.

When downloading I just save to the mods folder and the open to extract the files.
emmalouise43 Posted January 28, 2018 Author Posted January 28, 2018 Think I found the reason I used WinRAR for the original files but when my trial ran out i used an app on windows 10 that was supposed to do the same but I decided to purchase WinRAR and now it works again. If you are using anything other than WinRAR I would advise paying the small amount (I think it was £30/£40) to use a program that works.
