Skyrim PC Installation of both Skyrim Legendary and SSE Help.

Hi everyone

I need some technical help on how to pull this off. I have SSE installed through Steam on an external drive (F), and I am using ModOrganizer to launch SSE. I have roughly 20 mods installed and it is a stable game.

I want to install Skyrim Legendary (OldRim) on to an external drive (G) and be able to play OldRim as well.

1. How do I keep my PC from mixing up the SSE installation and the OldRim installation? Is there cross over files that will land in the C drive? (operating system)

2. Can I install another copy of ModOrganizer on the external drive so it can handle the mods for OldRim?

I have searched for a walkthrough or guide on this particular issues? If you have any advice or point me to a guide that would be great.

Thanks for the input!

I believe you should be able to install two separate Mod Organizers on different drives, of course, and have them manually set to the respective Skyrim location of your choice.  Hell, I know this can be done with NMM so I don't see why not with MO.

You can install as many MO instances as you want - and on the same drive if you want.  Just install to different folders - I have 3 installed - 1 for FO TTW, 1 for Oblivion, and 1 for Skyrim - all on the same HDD.  Create a shortcut for each on desktop to launch the one you want to play.

As far as I'm aware (never installed or played it yet), Skyrim and SSE install totally separately, so you can have both installed on the same drive if you like.
