Constant whiterun crash.

Games had been fine, till I installed the Vilja companion, then whenever i tried to leave the bannered mare I crashed.

So, I uninstalled the mod and everything was fine. Now whenever i go BACK to whiterun, or anywhere near it. 

(and I mean near it, i can't go to the honeydew place without it CTD as well) I crash to desktop. This is also on new games as well. LOOT says nothing at all about any issues

If your using HDT bodies your going to have to have a specific skeleton fix file, produced by another author for RSchildren to work.

In fact it may well be whats causing the crashes cause whenever you go near any place that has children with HDT plus RSchildren your game will stutter, frame rates plummet and yes crashes...I use some other mod for better lookin kids cause I'd rather not have such a fussy mod installed.

I think RS does a few things that cause issues like allowing kids to use adult objects and uh killable, its also directly incompatible with some adult oriented mods which will shut those mods down, likely cause of the killable and use adult objects/furniture kind of thing.  Basically remove it rather than keep it.

 

Also your Load order looks like a mess, you should use a mod manager like NMM or way better yet Mod Organizer is the king for Skyrim.

 

I'd trim some mods from this LO personally it just looks like too much overlapping combat modules...

My personal experience with OBIS tells me its not really a mod that plays well with a lot of other mods that need uptime with papyrus, although in a lighter load it can be fun...Its not really needed when you have High Level Enemies though.

 

Having Both "Immersive Patrols" and say Skyrim Immersive Creatures...Oh look you also have OBIS...That's just Overkill and it wont turn out real well with mods that reach out with spell effects to apply scripts because your going to have a whole hellava lot of NPC's in your world space, same can be said by also using ASIS to put more monsters in the world space....Its really overkill.

Say you put in a mod like Dual Sheath Redux which happens to be in your LO.....>< perfect storm situation waiting to bite you in the ass...OK so DSR, applys its effect through a spell called a "cloak spell" this reaches out about 1.5 or more cell spaces enough that its sorta outta visual range right...So its going to hit all those NPC's and apply its script to them.

Now in a normal game scenario this is not a problem at all.  But in your case your going to have somewhere in the magnitude range of about 10 TIMES the number NPCs that script has to run on than in a normal game....So if normally it put the effect on 3 NPC's its now gotta put it on 30!

Yes you can easily achieve higher numbers of NPCs needing a script applied to them...Heck Immersive Patrols can have 10 NPCs to itself but if ASIS touches it your going to be looking at like 10 to 50 NPC's right there on the road alone!

Another thing that people don't seem to realize...They think "Oh Im fine...Its 5 Humans and 12 creatures"....Well that script spell hits the creatures and it takes time to determine if those are creatures or humans....Now the thing to understand is that some of these script spells go out to the max range of like 5 cells...That's every creature, person, and monster in the entire loading block!  So you could have to have that script run across 50 guys in a normal game...But with like 4 mods adding more stuff to that area that's a heck of a lot more NPC's to read through.

 

So what other mods do you have that use a cloak spell script?

That's just the ones Im sure about, but you can check yourself pretty quick by hitting the consol key, then click on the player and look for active unseen magic effects on the player character...Only possible with SKYUI which you have.

 

 

Not to mention that there are going to be a lot more mods that apply "cloak spell scripts" such as but not limited to Sexlab Arroused, Creature Features and so on....But the real list is huge...

What Im getting at is if you start throwing the popular adult mods found here in Lovers Lab ontop of those mods you got in place you will run into script latency, stutter, general slow downs, and low performance.

 

Now Im not trying to scare you off of cloak script spells, alright they get used all the time in mods cause it works real well, but the thing you gotta watch out for is when you put too many NPC's into the game world....That's a lot easier achieved and can be a source of issues to itself that goes overlooked in Tech support when its really kinda obvious.

To put it into perspective a typical full on adult orientated game will have like almost a dozen of these running....So its really important to be aware of when your putting too many extra actors into your game space.

A crash when getting close to something might very well be a skeleton issue because a skeleton issue will remain even on new games.

 

So try reinstalling anything skeleton related like XPMSE.esp and see if that fixes it because if you have a skeleton issue and you get close to or enter a cell of someone that has a bad skeleton or their skeleton isn't compatible with their body or outfit it'll cause you to crash to desktop.

it only looks messy because I am trying to fix things.

I don't use any adult mods cause that's not my style.

All my mods like OBIS and IP, and IC work fine together. my frames are fine and my games are fine.

The only issues i have had recently has been with children.

I had that  happen a few months ago. I think I fixed it using Save game script cleaner and using "Delete Mod Forms" on the removed mod cleaning out every reference to scripts and added forms.

Can't be sure though. You know how it is when trying to save a crashing game. You desperately try to fix shit until you give it up as lost or, magic!, hey!, that worked!

That might work, everything was working fine until Vilja, but before that, I had an issue with RS children.

Ok you have a problem. Vilja is a heavily scripted mod meaning all those scripts are now baked into your savegame. Even uninstalling it will not really help. You can try a save cleaner but with a heavily scripted mod like that chances are its gonna be in vain. The area near whiterun is known not to be very stable aswell the unoficial patch solved most of that issues but is not perfect. The rule is never to uninstall a mod with a esp or esm file especially heavily scripted mods midway through a playthrough. Good luck is all i can say give the save game cleaner a try but I don't have high hopes.

Right, I already abandoned that save game, I'm trying to keep the crashes off of my new save now.

Its a KNOWN issue with RSchillens.

 

But ya I don't use Vlja so I don't know about her being script heavy, heard that voice and just uninstalled and never thought of it again.

there is not skeleton fix by the author of RS Children, and if you mean the XPMSE rescaled mod, I downloaded that as well and the crash still persists.

I guess i should also say, the crash is ONLY whiterun, the orphanage in Riften doesn't crash either.

Installed the Rescaled XPMSE for RS children, and reinstalled XPMSE like stated earlier. Those removed mentions of it in my log but now it's talking about a quest.

You have written that also happens with new game, so no comment from me on Save Cleaner.

 

If the crash is only Whiterun and not before - skeleton is actually excluded.

 

Helgen and Riverwood are both adults and children. The skeleton (the Nif) is tied to race - and playable races use the same skeleton.

 

1. In question can only come: A certain NPC with extra bones in mesh and missing skeleton - I think it's not like that.

2. Change of the cells of Whiterun by mods: Whiterun has a lot of triggers in the city and in front of the city. These triggers are quest / script triggers for the main quest.

3. There are no scripts for mods: Your Log 10:21:00 AM - Read Script - and Missing Error until 10:35:26 AM ???

15 minutes?

 

 

* and ** means crystal ball - I do not know all mods.

 

My suggestion: Reduce the mods to a level that you think is absolutely necessary.
Really only the most important!

 

Then play until the Riverwood and until the quest is activated, go to Whiterun to Jarl.

Make a manual save. A proper manual save with console!
Open console and enter save myTest1 - or whatever.

Advantage: These saves are never overwritten by Skyrim.

 

Go to Whiterun and if everything works, quit. (console and enter qqq)

Activate the next mods - load myTest1 and back to Whiterun. Until you find the (or more) bad mods.

There are few exceptions where this type of error can be ignored.

It lasted only 16 seconds this time - instead of almost 15 minutes. But 16 seconds are an eternity.
It seems as if a mod is not complete - possibly a missing master, which was "only" flagged as a master.

 

 

PS: ImCh DG.esm=1 is a Mod with any Erros in your log.

 

 

It would be good to sort the ESM these mods - in the order of the DLC.

The Loot tool is quite helpful for sorting - it's rarely wrong.

uninstall RK Children

Install Children are alright

Its better and takes up less Plug ins.

This file right here will fix your issue because I had the same issue as you. Whiterun, windhelm, and other places I will crash. with this mod. It will prevent crashes. You will rarely get crashes once you install this.

you don't need high resolution packs when you just can install textures that replaces other ones. You just wasting plug ins honestly.

Fourth 
Bring your Duel Sheath plugin next to Duel sheath patch. they always suppose to be together. if not you will get crashes

With Loot you can check and replace your load order.
The file for this (generally, even without loot) is a simple text file.

In Windows, click Start-> Your Account (should be on the top right) -> then AppData -> Local -> Skyrim - plugins.txt.

 

The file path should be like this: C: \ Users \ your name \ AppData \ Local \ Skyrim

Make a copy of plugins.txt - if you do not trust loot.

There are enough examples and tutorials on the topic - even as a mod. lol
With 5 lines. of which 1 line in the case of an accident wrong - and 1 completely unnecessary.
And it does not solve a single problem here regarding CTD in a particular location.

Are helping Or you telling me it doesn't help. It actually does help sir. it gave me the same issues she is having before I even Knew anything about this mod. This help crashes outside period. Its a great mod that help preventing crashes and I recommend it to all people that having the same issue.

I was just looking at her load order and I seen High resolution textures. just letting her know she doesn't need those plugin ins. Just wasting space. All you need is to  download textures.

The HighResTexturePack's are not mods but officially DLC from Bethesda.
These are not good for better performance, but they are by no means the cause of CTD - unless some Replacer messed it up.
But as I said, I do not know all the mods

???? You confusing me bro. She said she need help because her game is crashing at whiterun. I gave her the mod to prevent that so How Im I not serious about the topic????
