ElvenScoundrel Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 How the heck do I copy a mesh and duplicate it? Ctrl+C doesn't work, and I'd rather NOT do the entire mesh again.
tattooedillusions Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Hey Elven Shift+D copies the selected part of the mesh
tattooedillusions Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Sorry about that. When you have what you want copied selected, hit Shift+D to copy then move your mouse away from the original piece (the copied part will follow). When you get the copied part away from the original click the left mouse button which will let it go and then you can move that copied piece to where ever you want it.
ElvenScoundrel Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Got it, Alt+D will also make other copies of it. Thanks a lot, bro! I owe ya one.
tattooedillusions Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Did not know about Alt+D ha ha. I'm still at the bottom end of the beginner section in Blender so there's MUCH to learn yet. Not a problem dude glad to help someone out with the very little knowledge I do have. Cheers
