Queen Bee Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Warning: I talk about guro stuff. Anyone who knows me knows I enjoy some pretty sick things. If you've ever seen FunnyBizness's animations, you'll know what I'm talking about. In that same vein (ho ho) of disturbing, guro-esque mods, I had an idea. How about a mod that allowed you to skin people and wear their faces like a mask? Imagine killing Lydia and wearing her stretched, bloody face as you go about killing more NPCs. It would be even better if people recognized what you've done and reacted accordingly (basically accusing you of murder and sending the guards after you). Or if you wear the face of a family member, the entire family freaks out and either comes after you or runs away screaming. If you're still here, you haven't been scared away by this. Good. I like you already. So...any takers?
SilentButDeadly Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 This would be actually possible. Skyrim saves face meshes to meshes/character/facegendata/facegeom, so it would be as simple as making those models helmets.
Queen Bee Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 How difficult would that be to do? Wouldn't you have to make a helmet for each face? That sounds tedious.
SilentButDeadly Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Yes, I'm afraid. You could always start with a subset of faces, like do all the follower faces. For having to kill the person before you make the face, you could have each character drop a unique item used in the crafting recipe.
