Hello everyone :)

While I have been playing Skyrim on the PS3 since it came out, I only recently got the Steam version for the PC as well because of the modding possibilities. Now, i wanted to "sex" my Skyrim up a bit (sexy armors, nude mods, the bukkake skin, some way to add sexual gestures/scenes etc, maybe try out that slave den mod etc.) but I have absolutely no idea where to start or what to do. Everywhere I look I see abbreviatiobns I frankly do not understand.

Yup, I am an absolute newbie when it comes to modding. Can anyone maybe help me out, explain to me the basics and point me in the direction of a few mods I would enjoy?

for body mods, there is UNP, UNPB, CBBE, CHSBHC, ADEC, lady body (only on LoversLab), and some more that you can look up here ( http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=10893 ). it is all a matter of preference for which body mod you choose.

for kink slave mods, there are these

for sex mods, there is this

there was ASX, but idk where that is anymore.

if you browse the "Adult Mods -> downloads" section of this website, you can find most of what you want.

But most mods will work with any body type replacers?

Also, when modding, I heard that there are things like load sequence etc. to be considered...is there any place where I can get a tutorial in regards to what must be installed where and loaded when/how?

Yes, I am asking dumb questions, I know...just had no idea it would all be so complicated...what does BBP mean?

Also, where can I find CBBE?

yes, most mods work with any body replacer. however, for armor replacer mods, you will need to find a replacer that matches what body type you use. for example, if you use UNP, you need to have UNP armor replacers.

for load order, use BOSS ( http://code.google.com/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/downloads/list ). it will help you avoid bad mod conflicts and crashes.

you can find CBBE here on LoversLab or at Skyrim nexus (just google it if you don't know what that is).

and BBP is "bouncing breast physics" i think. basically, it gives you jiggly boobies.

That is a wide open request and understandable. I suggest just jumping in by starting with finding something you like, then going really slow by carefully reading all the text and information given by the mod's author. Always read everything the author says regarding their mod before using it. If it says anything about another required mod to also install, find that mod and again READ EVERYTHING that mod author also says. As long as you go slow reading everything carefully and following instructions, you should be mostly fine. Many of the most popular mods do have all the information you need to know about getting their mods to work right in their instructions and anything they don't mention likely isn't important. But I can't stress reading everything the author says enough. Doing so will also help you avoid any flack often thrown at nubes for not reading.

Edit after seeing your last post: I've never used BOSS, but just a quick glance at it over at Nexus... The instructions appear to be in the readme file that comes in the download instead of the author's mod page. Always look for readme files in download and read everything there. I think that one even has a link in the readme to point you to where to ask the author questions, which is why the thread on Nexus for it is locked.

Edit again: just found the link for problems with BOSS here

And now for the last dumb question...once I have the armor mods etc...where do I find the armor in-game? Skyrim is a biiiig place :)

most modders specify in their read-me files. you often find them through crafting. you may have to dedicate some perk points to smithing for them to show up.

replacers for vanilla armor are found through vanilla means (e.g. dungeon loot, crafting, questing). basically, you get them the same way you got vanilla armor.

Another quick question...when i install a body mod (UNP, CBBE etc.) do the regular armor sets still work (leather, dragonbone, daedric etc.)?

Posted

yes, but skin textures will not look right if you use a body replacer that is different from the body on the armor. for example, if you use the CBBE body and try to equip UNP armor, the skin will look very distorted.
