grc001 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 HI guys, I decided that with all the crap I had to go through with NMM over the years, to switch to Mod Organizer the other day and all seems to be going well except one thing. I have searched and searched all over (and I may have found the answer, but cant find it again) for the answer to this question. Why do I have a red border around the left panel of the MO interface? Thanks for any help. P.S. I have a grey 'Overwrite' and the triangle in the top right is not highlighted
jennievm Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Not sure about the red panel. If it doesnt do anything you can probably just ignore it. As for the the override being grey that is perfectly fine that just means your override folder is empty. And seeing a non highlighted Triangle is also a good thing. It lights up when there is either things in your override folder or when there is a mod conflict or missing master files. In your case I wouldn't worry to much things seems fine.
BonsaiWeed Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Red border indicates you have a filter active. Right-click on a category in left pane and select "De-select category filter". That should get rid of the red border. Grey overwrite is usually a good thing.

I wouldn't say gray overwrite is usually a good thing. It just means that MO hasn't done any work that requires skyrim/data folder structure outside of installing the mods. Mod enough and you'll find all sorts of stuff in there that can be changed quite often, such as FNIS files for animations and custom work done via Creation Kit.

Yep basically anything you run through MO will save content there. :)
