RPGKnight Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Intro note: This is a fresh install of Skyrim, since my last attempt modding this ended up making the intro wagon getting stuck which prevented me from starting the game. I hope that you guys can help guide me through setting this up, so that I and potentially others don't have to struggle too much. installation tool: Skyrim Mod Organizer I also have LOOT to organize in the right order. The log of my actions: Installed: SexLabFramework v162 FULL Installed: SkyUI [Downloaded via Steam Workshop] Installed: Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) [Installed via Steam Store] Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - Creature Pack Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - Spells (( I then ran GenerateFNISforUsers.exe after setting up the short-cut in Skyrim Mod Organizer)) Right clicked Overwrite & Added: FNIS Animation Patch Now I need help with: Picking a body replacer (This part is really confusing as whenever I tried to pick CBBE, the slider wouldn't work.) Picking a skeleton (I believe these two are the options?: XPMSE2 or XPMSE3) I believe Schlongs of Skyrim is just a straight forward install? Trying to add these two: SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim 3.00.004 OS schlong for females - UNP (This one seems to have skeleton demands, I don't know what UNP is...) The schlongs, skeleton and body replacer is confusing me a lot so if I can get some help with it to function, that would be great. I will update this list until I successfully installed the content I need, so that others can just copycat the steps to get there.

What slider? You have 2 main body replacers. CBBE and UNP. Of course, there are many, many more than that but those 2 are the classic "starter" bodies. And of you course, you can apply a texture to each one. Though be wary that a texture applied to a mesh that it doesn't fit around will cause a texture mismatch. Usually a body replacer mod will not cause a CTD, they rarely (if ever) have ESPs or ESMs attached since they have no need to, they're not creating or modifying anything in the base Skyrim ESM, only replacing them. 4 hours ago, RPGKnight said: Picking a skeleton (I believe these two are the options?: XPMSE2 or XPMSE3) XPMSE3 I don't actually know the difference but I use it and it seems to be going well. 4 hours ago, RPGKnight said: OS schlong for females - UNP (This one seems to have skeleton demands, I don't know what UNP is...) I don't use Schlongs for Females but if it's anything like SoS it requires a bone for the penis and testicles(?) that is available in the XPMSE files. UNP is a body mod 4 hours ago, RPGKnight said: I will update this list until I successfully installed the content I need, so that others can just copycat the steps to get there. I'm really glad people still actually do this :)
Lodakai Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 If you find that you are using SOS and your prisoner cart is flipping over.. you can try this.. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65538/?
RPGKnight Posted November 22, 2017 Author Posted November 22, 2017 The log of my actions (1st Update): Installed: SexLabFramework v162 FULL Installed: SkyUI [Downloaded via Steam Workshop] Installed: Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) [Installed via Steam Store] Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS (NOTE: I renamed FNIS, Creature Pack & Spells when I installed it.) Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - Creature Pack Installed: Fores New Idles in Skyrim - Spells (( I then ran GenerateFNISforUsers.exe after setting up the short-cut in Skyrim Mod Organizer -Enabled "Gender Specific Animations & "skeleton arm fix." )) Right clicked Overwrite & Added: FNIS Animation Patch Installed: NetImmerse Override Installed: RaceMenu Installed: Realistic Ragdolls and Force Now, when I'm trying to install "XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - XPMSE", I get a lot of options: Spoiler Note: I left page "5" out as it was basically just a straight accept on all. https://imgur.com/a/Bpmt2 (Sorry appearntly it wouldn't let me show the pictures here by default with "share on forums", so instead the list of pics is there.) What do I choose here?
LazyBoot Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I think most of the xpmse options can safely be left at their defaults.
Lodakai Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Also you do not really need to install Netimmerse override if you use racemenu.. as it is already included. But it should not effect anything now that you have already installed it. Racemenu will simply overwrite all of it's files.. so you should be fine on that front. As lazyboot stated, the default settings should be ok. You can chose the other options if you prefer those particular animations, but for your first installation.. I think just going with a basic setup is plenty fine. The HDT rigmap is the preferred one to use, so you are good to go there.
RPGKnight Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 Actually before I continue, I'm useing Vanilla Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.) with all the mods, is that fine or should I switch over to Special Edition?

Lodakai Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 A recommendation.. as a precaution you should include crash fixes in your install. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/? Follow the homepage instructions for installing SKSE preloader as well as setting memory allocation to your operating system. Skyrims memory allocation is not very good. It creates a limit to the number of strings you can use in your game. If you do install a large number of mods that expand your string count, this will prevent problems in such cases. There are some more files that are staples, but we can get into those later on.. Step covers some of them and I don't want to overburden your setup process. I would very strongly recommend crash fixes though.
