Guest
Whenever my game crashes, I got to check the logs in MO and usually find this. Quote INFO (00:49:09.0171): Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe" (b46113). Last hooked call: int __stdcall GetFileAttributesExW_rep(const wchar_t *,enum _GET_FILEEX_INFO_LEVELS,void *) I keep getting these Windows Exception errors. The only way I seem to find a way around these errors is to play the game with few to no mods. I'd really like to find the answer to this issue. I've looked in a variety of places in which I've tried to uninstall Realtek HD Audio, set everything to have Admin privileges, none of them are running in compatibility mode, and nothing is installed in Program Files. Here is a pastebin of my plugins. https://pastebin.com/TNUz3UeU Does anyone have any kind of solutions to this problem or am I just going to have to cut as many mods as I have to? Link to comment
AlexW95
Mod Manager logs rarely helps, but you should be looking at what mods it was using before the error, the error itself will almost always be the same no matter what causes it (sometimes it's kernel32.dll instead or TESV.exe). You should try using the SKSE crash logs instead. Here's the guide on how to set it up and use it, along with some common error codes: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/46913-how-to-debug-ctd/ Not a guaranteed solution, but it has helped me more than MM or Papyrus logs.
