just please keep actual girls size.

 

dont turn DOAXVV into another DOA5 HD mod with ugly breast and stuff.

 

girls are like they are, no need to change them. even if its possible, just let them like this and enjoy. if you not like, then send mail to the game devs and ask them to add a new girl with whatever size you want.

 

i dont want to see another good DOA game dying because of some peoples taste. like marie rose with boobs or nyotengu with breast smaller than leifang, thats make no sens at all.

 

 

mod is good like it is, change nothing :)

Dude, mods are mods, just don´t use them if you don´t like them. This thread is open for ANY mods. And you can chose which mod you use so your point is not reasonable.

 

It´s just that this thread is completely messed up already, you don´t know which mod works with which skin texture and such...

 

For a simple working nude mod with natural skin textures for this game you can always just install the mod package from signature on post 1.

No, not ANY. ?  This thread is open only for those mods that

a) do not contradict the laws and

b) do not contradict the commercial interests of the devs.

Or do not you agree?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of restoring Nyotengu's wings in game? Is this at all in within the realm of possibility? We know they work in cutscenes at least, maybe they could be made to appear in photo mode / menu background as well (if not in the actual matches)?

guess they can be added like any outfit part. maybe not the original wings, but via xna for exempl, it will be possible to add them as part of the outfit ( not sure tho )

why would we force devs to do what WE want ? its up to the modder/dev to do what THEY want. you gonna talk about "suggestion" ? too bad then, if modders would like to make that kind of mods, they probably already have done it BEFORE doing the outfit, for gain time to not redone every single outfit for a specific body.

its not a matter of "possibilities" or not. its matter of modders taste and decision.

who are we to suggest things on modders ? peoples who dont even know how hard it is to do a single shit  on the game ? peoples who dont even know how is this possible and how it work ?

 

 

and i know perfectly wich mod work and wich dont. i asked multiples times for clean it and make one big OP post with everything in it... but seems like its not a good idea or idk why they dont. but anyway. i know wich one to use. its just a matter of logic. just reading the thread give you all answer about wich one work and wich dont. its not hard, it only use time to read.

Gratz, but don't post stuff not related to modding of the game please. We all know the frustration and joy of the gacha system*. But this thread is NOT for general discussion of the game, go to Reddit if you wanna do that, and wish to share the joys of your gacha jackpots please.

Came back after Christmas had to stop because my graphic card was no longer compatible with the game. So i had alot of come back rewards 25000 and 80 tickets, i get SSR Honoka, Nyotengu, Misaki and 2 SSR Towel Kasumi already had Marie first picked her got her towel too. Then i find there's Nude Mods :)

Probably 90% of posts in this thread have nothing to do with modding. If modders need their own separate thread (it's unclear why?), then let them create their own topic.

And this old one will then be left to plunder for all comers.   :)

So, you will probably not be able to do this the way you are trying because the vertex groups don't exist in the body mesh for the feet. Instead they likely only exist as part of the clothes because of the shoes/socks. What may be easier is to transfer the clothes you do want to replace a suit that already has Marie barefoot. Now, you will likely want to try to replace a suit that already has a skirt so when you transfer weights the skirt still can move. However, you will likely have to give up the gloves/arm wraps unless the replaced suit has vertex groups/weights that are associated to her arms. Same goes with her tie as it'll likely lose its independent motion.
 

To test, import the outfit and body into blender. Select all the clothes with the one you plan to replace with the new mesh last, and do the 3dmigoto's merge command (same from the tutorial). Now, go to weight paint and navigate through each of the simple integer-named vertex groups to view the weights available for the mesh you are wanting to replace. The weight paint will basically show where the mesh will bend (this is an oversimplification, and also how i interpret weight as a noob 3D-model modder). For example, if you don't see any weight attached to the index finger's knuckle, then that finger likely will not bend, same with the knees, elbows or another joint on the body if the target mesh is a body mesh. Same goes for clothes, if the target mesh you merged into were clothes and the clothes didn't cover the arms, probably going to have a tough time adding gloves. Same with shoes if the original didn't cover the feet.

 

Below is a quick graphic showcasing what i'm talking about looking at. I've already gone and deleted all the non-applicable vertex groups to only the whole number groups.This vertex group was the farthest extremity that exists on the White Lace suit that goes on her arm. So, likely these vertex groups are enough to cover a short-sleeved shirt to move at the shoulder, but if i tried to replace the suit with a long-sleeved shirt, it wouldn't bend with her elbows.

Alternatively, you could attempt to merge her legs and toenails from another suit and separate them to make essentially feet shaped socks/shoes. You'll have an easier time fixing the weights for this likely (other than maybe the ankle may move weird), however it'll have its own difficulties because the UV will need to be mapped and textures reassigned to try and blend it into the rest of the actual body.

 

If anyone else can think of  better ways, I'm up for hearing, because as far as I've found, you are kinda stuck with whats there in terms of mesh movement and each IB has their own fixed set of vertex groups that can't yet be modified. Regarding the vertex groups on body meshes, has anyone played around with attempting to re-add missing vertex groups to see if they are handled in-game, just the export/import doesn't include them because they had no vertices associated with them. it seems like the pose exports do cover more vertex groups than what the IB originally had but we just need to figure out a way to map them back in appropriately. Maybe there's a way to utilize the other export tool I heard someone mention and cross-reference the data to their original named groups.

Another option could be to or correlate them between different suit mesh through matching the UV map. You'd still have to guess where to place the missing groups but that would also help in maintaining custom weights used on a replacement body mesh from one suit onto another suit without having to redo transfer weights but instead remap vertex groups from the old suit's body's vertex groups to the new suit's body's vertex groups.

And it´s not a thread for modders only, but for mod discussion. So you can talk about mods, make mods and show them or post your mod usage screenshots. But don´t post unrelated DOAX3, DOA5 or porn pictures. You may ask DOAXVV game specific stuff, if it´s related to mods though, like which outfit is needed for mods or how to get poses and maps maybe. Everything else you can ask on reddit.

This mod does replace the White Lace suit, so if you decide to use it, you'll need to disable your old "White Lace Nude" mod if you are using it. I did this unfortunately because I needed a suit that already used transparent textures because everytime i try overriding or changing the shaders to use a different one I get way more graphical artifacts then I really want to deal with. Anyhow, enjoy, ideally I'll update it in somewhat short order with the other character models.

Ya, i attempted to fix the transparency issues within the suit, but it wasn't til I posted it that i noticed more with the interaction with the hair. I'm not really sure if its fixable or not. If anyone knows how to fix issues like this, feel free to speak up. I don't know much about creating custom shaders, but i imagine it should be solvable.

 

During testing, there were some times when I had overlapping transparency planes, from one side the transparency would make the overlapping plane also transparent, but if you viewed those same 2 planes from the opposite side, you would see both correctly. So I don't know if its a Z-order issue, or what but I just kept playing around with which index i utilized and the older of them until it looked mostly right. Granted i was mainly looking at the 3 layers of overlap between the panties, and the 2 layers of the skirt. I didn't think to look at the interplay with the hair, but I'm kinda out of ideas on how to solve it.

 

Update:

So it seems, that similar to the choker, if a transparent suit is closer to the camera than the hair, for some reason the hair is also rendered transparent. Aside from the choker the hair goes transparent from the bra portion because the hair is clipping between the suit and the body, so it ends up with the same result. If the hair isn't up against the body, I don't think it will normally do this. I just looked at Nyo, Hitomi and Kokoro and they seem to have the longest hair for their defaults and Kokoro seems to be the worst offender with her hair clipping into the body pretty regularly which is made slightly worse with her hair also clipping behind the suit.
