Toddler Interaction animations are strange

I just downloaded Wicked Whims this evening, and decided to test it out with two of my sims, who also have a young toddler. After using the mod, the mom went to pick up the child and when she did, the toddler vanished and her arms wrenched behind her very awkwardly. Mind you, when she puts the kid down, everything goes back to normal.

 

Is this just something that happens? Or is there a patch to fix this.

My male sim turned into a short man and crawled down the stairs on his knees and walked like a toddler. Then became tall again. I think it's a general bug. But I've had the one you describe as well. It happened to mine before cats and dogs and this new WW Update. But not the man child crawling part lol.
