Hello there!

I'm in progress of making a city mod and looking for some people that want to put their mark on it.

The city will resemble Laputa, (from the anime) a giant flying city in the middle of skyrim.

The flying parts is already done but the city needs a bit more life so I come here to hunt for some people eager to cooperate with me on this.

Depending on how nice people I get with me and how good you are at modding you might get more stuff too do.

Right now I need 12 interiors/exterior for my low class city square.

All the houses is going to be part of the main cell so you can go in and out of them without loading. (anyone know of why this could be a negative thing)

The houses/exterior can take up maximum of 3x3 of 0005B096 (its a floor tile) or minium of 3x2. So you can have 3x2 but with 1-3 extra tiles if you need it)

The "house" should be DweFarm01 (its two parts with Int and Ext) or DweFarm02 (its two parts with Int and Ext).

You can edit whatever part of the house as longs it fits Dwemer architecture and as long as it fits the space.

The house should have working sound and lightning.

The whole house should be in a own empty cell and it should work to copy in to my main city cell.

You can have a npc that lives in the house and walk around the yard.

The house can be a shop.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my first real big mod and I'm a total noob with ck and the whole scripting part. But I have plenty of free time and I want to learn to be better at ck.

Anyone interested in this project can join in and if you want to contact me personal, my mail is forum name but with @hotmail at the end.

If you want to talk even more feel free to add me on steam with same email.

I'm still going to try do this alone if no one is interested but it will take a lot more time.

Have any more questions just post them here in this thread and lets have fun with modding.

Hello. I'm not a good modder (only have one mod I had an idea for with lots of guidance) but hopefully I can offer some info since no one else has in the week+ that this thread has been posted.

Usually, open buildings are processor intensive because the computer has to load all the data for that area, inside every house, for each object in that cell.

Usually, interiors are separated to different cells because it's less of a strain on the user's computer. That's why you get the loading screen when changing cells.

If you have a beast computer or gaming rig then I'm sure creating an open-world area with housing, objects and npcs will be easy.

If you don't...God help you.

Would 12 small houses with lets say 100 objects(counting everything) in one cell really be that demanding?
