F4SE not running mystery

hello LL community.  I am out of ideas. 

I have carefully installed F4SE following Gopher's method. double checked and reinstalled three times. 

the game launches via the f4se loader normally everytime and everything is normal until I interact with a quest giver or a vendor. (actually, thinking about it, any npc.)

then I get this 

 

I ran the verify game file cache tool in steam and it found a missing file.    should I do a clean install of the game and start again??

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT.  fixed it by uninstalling Extended Dialogue Interface.    no idea what I did wrong. i really liked that mod too. oh well.  I will read everything again carefully and reinstall it.
