Can't load a game nor press continue.

Whenever I try to load a saved game and press continue, the game simply does nothing at all, as if the button wasn't even pressed/clicked. The usual confirmation sound when you press the button is there however, even if the save is never loaded. 

The main menu screen will continue as usual with music, the menu can be interacted with normally, and I can start a new game, but loading a game from the main menu is absolutely impossible. The new game behaves normally, and I can load a save after that, but it requires me to do that in order to load a save. 

I messed with plugins and esps to no avail, any help would be appreciated as I just can't seem to find this issue anywhere. Everywhere else people have problems with crashing upon loading, but never directly being denied to load a save.

Game has been installed manually. Everything works well besides the issue previous described.

Can you load an earlier save? If so, then it is likely that the save itself is borked

 

If you haven't got it already, CrashFixesPlugin is a good thing to have.

Nevermind, managed to fix it. 

I somehow had a previous version of "Load game CTD fix" that modified the main menu, deleting that allowed me to load/play the saves as usual.
