Hello,

 

I would like to announce the release of chapter one of my first visual novel ‘Sophie’.

 

This first release is available to everyone through my Patreon page at patreon.com/tastygames.

 

For future updates, Patron subscribers will have access to releases immediately, and for higher subscription Patrons there will be extended versions of the games with extra content.

 

My aim is to develop a series of games, comprising of four to five parts each covering a whole array of taboo topics.

 

My first game concentrates on the developing relationship with Sophie and her father. It will feature choices along the way that will influence the story as it progresses.

Tried your demo, seems like a very credible story with down to earth characters and a nice looking daughter (I would like bigger boobs tho but that's just me ^^)

 

There are a few details here and there that can be improved tho, some lights and background alignment at the house and the store, also the kitchen (I think) seems to have too many lights and you have overlapping shadows... about six or so when she's sitting beside a table.

 

Also there is a part when you have the option to open the door or knock and when I chose open there was a message saying "Nice try..." I was like wtf!? who's there? xD

That part brakes immersion; is like some unknown narrator(?) suddenly says something to the father... or like some invisible person was watching you all the time... :<

Lighting in Daz has been.... a nightmare. A very steep learning curve which is slowly improving.

 

On top of that I've been using an old Asus monitor that has really bad colour reproduction, but I've since invested in a decent IPS monitor, which helps massively.

 

Regarding that weird 'Nice Try' comment - I was unsure whether to include it or not, and I think you just helped me make my mind up!

Well feels like a standard incest game, saying that.

 

The story feels realistic enough. The girl looks 18-19, basically looks like a college freshman. I think you did a good job having a realistic bust size for her. You can still have other women be busty...

 

I feel like you are missing a hook. IMO you should have a sex scene or something to show what they will be like in your game to grab our attention, but it not being between the father daughter unless its a dream or something. These types of games you want to build that incest slowly.  Father could have a tinder date... or maybe the daughter has a boyfriend who she sleeps with and quickly end that relationship, like him cheating or something.

 

I didn't spend to much time reading the dialogue this time, but if you have more I will give a proper critique of that.

 

I'm not into incest but your game looks good enough for me to at least look at.

I hope your story is already setup and you're not planning to follow or change the direction of your game tastygames, when you add repelling and disgusting things like NTR, cheating, abuse, degradation, and extreme fetishes as active elements games go to hell, people play games to relax , to do something entertaining that will make them enjoy their free time not to get upset, angered, or disappointed over crazy and frustrating stories and characters that start out as something good, we have plenty of that already.

 

The cuckolding in your story is just referenced and that makes it barely acceptable, I really hope it stays that way.

Glad to see you're focused into presenting the story with nice dialogs, interactions, and not just dumping sex scenes, those should be further down the line in the game development or be rewards for your patreons, but maybe some nudity can help at the beginning, maybe peeping at the shower or maybe while changing clothes I don't know.

 

To understand the story people have to read it, just click, click, click, "Uh no fuck!?" is a weak interpretation   hopefully people will see that you have something nice to offer.

I agree. A game has to be to specifically about those things, not that those things are bad. This game seems like a sweet sort of innocent incest game, which I dont like personally, but saying that it doesn't fit those darker themes.

Thanks for your comment. I was in two minds whether to include a sex scene in the first release. I really didn't want to give away too much too early, and I certainly don't want to just dump in sex scene after sex scene. The aim is to slowly to build the relationship between them in a more realistic fashion. 

 

I think it's obvious where the direction of the game is going, but at the end of the day the player will be able to choose their path through the story. If someone doesn't like a particular subject, there will be a route or path to choose that should avoid it.

 

It's still very early days and Sophie is only the first game. Once this chapter of her story is complete then I will move on to something else with the plan to revisit Sophie in the future once they are back from their vacation.

If you have a vision, trust your vision.

 

Personally I like the darker story lines, but for me the story has to make sense first and foremost. Obviously different people like different things.

Sorry to dredge up an old topic, but is this project still alive? It looks like it got hit when Patreon did its "extreme sex" purge, and I see no other way to contact the OP. Mr Dots also got hit with a Patreon suspension on DMD, but he then started up an account on Buy Me a Coffee. Sure, it probably does not get the same visibility, but with that and a fan generated discord board, the project at least has kept moving forward.

 

I created an account on here specifically to ask about this. I think the graphics and the story line show promise. I haven't seen all of the incest games/interactive novels out there, but some of them are cartoony and lame. This one has the potential to have some class, similar to DMD, which is still my favorite.
