Is there a way to change Idles on key press?

First of all guys, thanks for everything you've done for the community.

I am very into modding, and I would like to ask for your help about smthg.

Is there a mod that can change character idles on key press? I do have PCEA but I do not wish to occupy all the "slots" with idles. I've also found a mod called "Play random IDLE", but frankly, i'ts crap.
Is there a mod of such sort out there? If not any pointers on how to create on would be most welcome.
