Remove custom outfit on follower.

Hello. I got a  follower (tdn Xavier follower.) with custom armor that I want to replace. But whenever i try to use the equipmanager with AFT the game ctd. 

Saw that some of the clothing uses scripts in the CK so that might be the reason

 

Have never dealt with modded outfits in the CK before, so I don´t know how to do it properly. Can I just remove the scripts just like that and just tick in a deafult outfit in the inventory in the creation kit? Or is it just easier to make a look-alike without all the riff raff? The author of the mod havent been active in a while, and I would like to know how to do it myself. Will not break any rules and release the mess either.

 

Searched a bit on google before I wrote this, so far Ive only found mods that can do it. And I don´t want to add yet another mod just for this tiny issue.
