Npc teleports or spawns in furniture at a stage.

I'm trying to create a mid air floating npc using a furniture marker. I've done it before but sadly forgot how. I am trying to get the character to appear over a pit of lava while theyre leaning down over it. (I have done it before so I know its possible) Any idea how I would go about doing this? I've been trying all day.
