TamaChan Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I am trying to edit some npc from a mod, but all of them are messed up in the ck. in game they look fine. I am trying to add some new armors for them to wear, they are a custom race so this take a little assembly. in order to fix the neck gap with the original facegen meshes I need to re-export them from ck, but when I boot them up in ck their face looks weird, and if I try export it looks weird in game. From what I could see it looks like the npc's might be reverting to the default for the race for lips, nose, and eyes. any ideas how to fix or what is going on?https://i.imgur.com/23HEinR.pnghttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72569 (pic of ck face-gen-morphs, for some reason set to default. and the mod I am trying to edit.)

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm also trying to fix the gap issue on a downloaded mod The Huntress Reborn Standalone Aela Replacer SSE - 7BB CBBE Physics - v2.1.2
RW311 Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Dyscrasite check first for mod conflict or if you are missing some patch or something before trying to do anything else. If npc was not made with ck then ck cannot load that head mesh it loads default race head and if you have custom head parts same deal. CK will just break it if you hit preview and save and it cannot build facegen to match what you had. If you have a weight mismatch it probably is some other mod conflict issue with npc or with armors etc... unless this problem is common complaint on that npc mod page and you really want to fix that otherwise the problem is most likely in your load order.
