Don't have permission to use F4SE

I don't know if this is allowed on this forum but no one else has been able to figure out why the SE does not work for me. It says I don't have permission however I am the only admin user on this PC. I went into safe mod to try to change the UAC but that did not work either, it said that I am the sole user or "parent" of the file but It wont let me make changes to my fallout 4 directory folder, its just SE no other mod is doing this.

Edit: this has never happened before I have been using SE since vanilla skyrim and have been using it for fallout 4 ever since it came out but only now does it decide that I am not an admin.

I think it says that if you dont have a legit copy and

if you do then you wont get support from anyone

The screenshot does NOT show a pirated copy.

It seems quite a legit Steam installation on E: drive. (Actually exactly the same I do have.)

 

To the PO, if there are problems writhing the files, try to change the Security settings on the main folder and give to the user Everyone full permissions.

pickup the archive F4SE, drop everything into Fallout4 folder (minus readme and what's new)

Then run F4SE in admin.

Installing manually should fix the problem, I used that installer before and I had a similar problem.

Just wondering. Is there a different between the Archive version and Installer version? It works best for me as I used the archive one.. (Can't check now as I had FO4 uninstalled since update broke it)
