Devious Device/ Bodyslide issue. Clipping armours.

While it is multiple items, the two it has so far been most noticable on are the DD Chastity Bra and Restrictive Corset.

 

Both items cause some poke-through, and rebel against my attempts to correct. The galling thing is, when I put them on via a menu, they are perfectly molded to fit, but as soon as the menu closes, they snap inward below the body model, and clip. And this clipping is the same no matter what I do with sliders. The things chasing my edits to the pixel.

 

I am fully expecting it is a simple thing that I broke in some manner. I use NMM for mods, CBBE for body, have turned things off and on again, have made sure I had the most recent bodyslide. Batch built in bodyslide, with and without building morphs in, have tried a range of body types, and even gave up and tried to install the prebuilt meshes from the Captured Dreams mod.

 

I also swear at one point it was working fine but only if I set the race menu weight to 0, and those are some horribly gangly shapes at times.

 

The best I could get of the equipment before it snapped to, but is meant as an idea of what it should/used to look like. The lower, how it ends up and stays, with a default 0.5 weight and 0.0 weight.

Try going into the DD menu and find the breast and belly node management options, maybe turning those off will fix it.

Or go into Outfit Studio (via Bodyslide) and add to the meshes - there's plenty of Bodyslide/Outfit studio tutorials that are short and easy to follow.  Took me a few hours and was able to do this - often takes me longer to find the actual outfit than to fix the mesh now!

Dangit, I knew it would be eminently simple. My thanks to both of you, though I was leery of editing things myself just because it worked before, and I'd be forever editing to get it perfect. But now I know what was up.

how was this fixed? have the same issue. Can't see the clipping in outfit studio but I see it in-game

for some reason I turned this 2 options on, but now I can just turn turn breast node management OFF. The belly node management is stuck at on and are faded, like a dialog i had already saw. Any idea who to fix it?

Is there anyway to 'batch' fix a bunch of stuff in outfit studio? If say all my gloves are acting up and I don't want to have to fix them all by color. Secondly: My stuff clips when It's NOT comboed with other DD stuff but does not when it is. BY themselves gloves clip through my character and so do corsets, but combine with a catsuit or yoke/hobble dress, they work. What's up with that?
