Tropical Skyrim and Open Cities: Safe?

Hey there.

I recently decided that I should really make a fresh install for Skyrim. Turns out installing mods, leaving for a few months, coming back after forgetting (and being too lazy to check) which mods were installed and installing some more mods is not the best idea a Skyrim player can have.

I figured that, if I'm going to install mods, I might as well check if the mods I want are actually safe to install. Since there's quire a few mods in question and I didn't want to make one mega thread, I decided to split things up a bit. So, as the title says, this one is me asking about Tropical Skyrim and Open Cities.

Regarding Tropical Skyrim, I've read a lot of different opinions so far. Some say it's safe, some say it crashes everything. Also, I saw that there's a Tropical Skyrim 2. Used it back when I played, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea (I'm not even sure I installed it correctly).

In addition to that, Open Cities had some very bad comments, but just like TS, good ones as well. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

Both of these mods just made the game soo much more fun to me. I really can't stand Vanilla Skyrim, even with colourful ENB's. TS really helped with that. Plus it makes all those skimpy armors way better.

Same for OC. Not having to load when entering a City made the game much more fluent. So I really don't want to kick them out of my load order. If I can help it. If not, would Seasons of Skyrim - Summer Edition work?

PS: If this is the wrong section to post, please just let me know, will fix asap.
