Yanazake Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 So, first of all, I'm NOT using any companion mod, at least, not one that should modify their behaviour. I have Convenient Horses and Wisplicker. I can't think of anything else that could edit their behaviour. When I choose an option like checking their inventory, give an order, dismiss them and the like, nothing happens, and they just keep following me. The behaviour is still there, because Thuumic still issues the "wait here" and "follow me" commands, but the menu itself doesn't let me work with my companion. [i should point that after all that happened, I saved my game, loaded it for testing, and upon load, if I did nothing... The command I issued - show inventory, do something... - just appeared all of a sudden. :/ I'm using Skyrim 1.7, dawnguard, lastest SKSE and Script Dragon as of 7/aug/2012. [updated everything, including game and mods yesterday. Haven't been playing skyrim at all lately. time to get back to it.]
Soulslayerzx Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Try opening up the console and type that one command where it sets your follower count to 0. I just got glitched with npc mods and I had 2 lydia followers, and I couldn't get either one to stop following me but not actually being next to me. So I typed: set playerfollowercount to 0 I am 100% sure there is a command that should look something like that, or that might even be the correct one, I don't know. That's exactly what happened to me, I didn't play Skyrim for a while, let it update a few times and when I went back, I couldn't get any new followers because my follower count was glitched with 2 Lydias. After I did that, I could recruit any follower. I also suggest getting the Follower Overhaul mod, I don't use it's whole system, I just do it for more than one companion in battle.

I "could" dismiss Jzargo instantly from the dialog menu after I used it, and had the option to recruit him again. Well, I just wanted to get rid of him to go on in a companions quest... Edit: Btw, I use thuumic, and I just noticed it doesn't work with UFO... Not going to remove my shouting habilities for more followers XD
