CTD and SLAL?

Could having SLAL and a lot of animations lead to CTD? I noticed that sometimes I get crashes that doesn't seem to be due to anything other than me having used Sexlab and having too many animation. It happens when I go near a new area and after having used Sexlab, so I am thinking they might be related.

Is there anything I can do to reduce the likelihood of a CTD?
